Briles fallen through/ Cumbie and Gilbert up?

Got confirmation that the Briles terms were nixed. Its over.
The next names up are the names listed in the title.
This next part is my opinion, but I dont think we have a realistic shot at Cumbie.. Gilbert is much MUCH more likely, and without baggage..meaning the misfortune of the last name Briles.
Im salty about Briles if you cant tell.
According to the source, Cumbie has already been contacted. Gilbert will likely soon follow. Also, we are operating with the "money is no object" mentality for this hire.
Unrest from everyone over the amount of offensive change seems to have lit the fire. The right hire is coming. Chaneys name continues to pop up , which is still very ludicrous to me.
Oh well. Time to hop off the Briles train. Its over.

He’s under the Air Raid tree. But he like many other current Air Raid coaches have evolved and runs the ball more than you expect a traditional Air Raid team to run it

Ehhh.. As dreamy as it sounds to throw the ball all over the field with 50 passes a game.. We would have to undergo a couple seasons of recruiting completely differently.

If money is no object, why is the OC list so short? I mean if they've serious been operating under the "money is no object" mindset, then absolutely nobody, college or pro, should be off limits.
