We have beaucoup athletic receivers - Sullivan, Anderson, McRath, Netherly, Dillon. Marshall next year. Receivers that have transferred to other programs have excelled. Good grief the talent is there, we just need the right catalyst.

Until I see Steve Ensminger announce his hiring at a podium, there is an OC search being conducted as we speak.

Anybody with half a brain can see this. Why in the frick would they sink themselves like that. They are obviously worried about public opinion (Briles). Seriously think they don't know people will riot in streets over Ensminger, not even to mention the guy DOESNT WANT TO BE THE frickIN OC. So why the frick would we throw double money at him when we can get A cheaper big name and make a splash. All these chicken littles absolutely refuse to use their brain. Money would be only excuse LSU could have for not going after a top coordinator and even that is not applicable in this case.

Its not over... its never over!

So why nixed? Bring it back.

If JA doesn't want to make the best hire available with the "money is no object" then that sure as hell doesn't lead to some of the names that have been posted.

If this hire goes south (not amazing, inspiring, etc) JA's job is next. I think he is first out.

Better put aside this pussy footing around and hire a big name.

Weak? How about racist? Resistance to Briles is being voiced by ugly white people who were put off by Briles' text encouraging black athletes to sleep with white coeds.

This is most definitely about intolerance and prejudice, hardly about "rape", and naturally our favorite dickless fops, msrs Aleva and Fkg Alexander wink, smile, wave and knowingly enable the haters.

This moral pretense, this sjw charade, is ugly and disgusting. Aleva and Alexander should be forced to explain their spineless stand against inter-racial relations, personally, to our football team.

"Guys, we can't hire Coach Briles because he encourages mixed raced coed sex and frankly, we hate that shite with a burning hot passion."

Likewise, the sad jerks on TD whining about the Baylor "rape culture ". We know what you REALLY mean and shame on you sick assholes.

Yeah, they're that incompetent. Did you not follow the events in Nov. 2015. Alleva was going to fire Miles and pay his huge buyout, and hire Fisher @ $7M/yr, but didn't bet it thru Fking first. Yes, they're that incompetent.

There are several articles out now about Grant Gunnell being Coach O's target for our 2019 QB. He's listed as the #1 Pro style QB and is currently committed to A&M but is considering LSU because he thinks Jimbo wants dual-threat QBS...

O also is trying to flip Roschon Johnson, #4 dual threat committed to Texas. Makes no sense trying to flip 2 different style QBs. Same with offering Tua last year. I don't think he knows what in the hell he wants his offense to look like.

Did you not follow the Tennessee search this year? It’s definitely possible

Ehhh.. As dreamy as it sounds to throw the ball all over the field with 50 passes a game.. We would have to undergo a couple seasons of recruiting completely differently.

In just one post, you went from asking about the guy’s system to saying that it would take a couple of seasons of recruiting differently when you know nothing about the guy or how he turned TCU’s offense around in one season.

Going to be awesome when Briles lands in the SEC elsewhere and comes back to bite us.
a whole lot of new staffs were put in place this year without him being considered. And Tiger fans act as if he is the only coach in America

Well his post said air raid... So i responded with that.

Then he edited and added the other stuff.

Air raid is typically alot of passing. Why even point this out?

If OP is true, I look at this and see that we’re building a credible OC list, and not taking a Briles, Freeze, Ensminger approach. Like.

I would hope they are also considering the Oklahoma State OC.

I like Briles, but Gilbert and Cumbie both have more experience than him as the actual play caller. I'm not sure why people put Briles so far ahead of the others.

It is the name the rant grabbed on to. shite, as far as what is being reported, no one is beating down the door of Briles.

Why would you think Briles is a big name. He is at FAU doing just what Lane is telling him to do.
