Yeah. But somehow, i doubt his original plan was to retire the moment he was eligible.

this BS needs to stop, if you are proven to have committed malfecence in office or any criminal activity, even if its not a federal offense, then all benefits should be stripped from any government employee or appointee

Lol. I posted a comment on the day he testified that he had better be calling his HR department to file his retirement papers.

Andrew McCabe

I will never understand why Trump and/or Sessions allowed him to stay on this long.

He should've been shown the door immediately after the inauguration along with James Comey.

If he is a civil service employee rather than a political appointee, there are limits as to what can be done to him.

He couldn’t be fired or outright demoted but he could be pulled off anything sensitive and basically given a shite detail or put in a room to do no work 8 hours a day.

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is planning to retire in the coming months amid accusations of partisanship and bias within the law enforcement agency from Republicans.

The Washington Post reported Saturday that McCabe plans to step down in a few months when he is fully eligible for pension benefits. That is expected to happen in early March.

McCabe has weathered GOP criticism of the FBI for over a year, with Republicans questioning the agency's handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server and, more recently, the probe into possible collusion between President Trump's campaign and Russia.
He abused his power in office by politicizing an investigation because he doesn't like the POTUS.

And he gets to retire in 3 months instead of getting fired or held accountable?

Do govt agencies have some loophole union now that you can DO ANYTHING and no one can fire you?

I guess certain politicos are above the law or too big to bring down, unless they are a non-democrat.

Comey and this dude were snakes from the beginning. They played politics and they are now getting burned. I doubt this guy makes to retirement before he is let go. Lots of bad stuff I believe coming out against the FBI leadership...

Retire him to prison.

If he ends up there I hope the warden assigns him to the cell with the dude with an enormous dong and a liking for middle aged white dudes.

Every night, all night.
