What the frick? Why one child? She holding it for ransom? Why is this bitch of a woman trying to split up siblings?
She's cooking something up, that's for sure.

What a malignant count

What a nightmare. I think the nephew saw a glimmer of hope that his family could be salvaged and go back to normal. I get it. It's tempting to fall for that trap because he was probably a wreck. His wife (soon-to-be ex) probably missed the kids after deserting them and she probably only wanted to take them with her, and used getting back together as a means to get in the door to do that.
He needs to document everything that happened. He should sue and hopefully win, if the wife truly deserted him with the kids, then he should have custody I'd hope. Hopefully she won't claim domestic abuse or something like that.

Because she knows that he's got a good chance of winning a custody battle for the two kids when it hits the courts. I'm guessing she's trying to avoid that by letting him have one kid, but he didn't agree with it.

Why the hell did he let the kids go with her? She's unstable as all hell and already bailed once.
No offense, but your nephew is making some really dumb choices.

How do we as men advocate to the legal system to favor the men more in court regarding the welfare of children?

It seems that my nephew setup marriage counseling sessions in an attempt to save his marriage and after a couple of sessions last week, the two of them called it quits
One of the best things my ex-wife did was not even want to try marriage counseling. Saved us time and money, because she had already checked out and the marriage was beyond saving at that point.

Can't fathom how a mother can do that

I never understand this either
Husband and wife basically have the same rights to the kids while still married
So all you have to do is stop them from going with her

This. Can't transport them across state lines without permission.

Exactly, but once you consent her to take them it's gets increasingly difficult to overturn that
Kinda like in football, the first ruling on the field is difficult to overturn

So basically, she's holding the child as a sort of ransom. She doesn't actually care for the child, she just needs it for her ends.

Didn't he have both the kids by himself in his house the entire time when she left with the Facebook guy? What the frick? He drove to pick her up and then let her take the kids.
He is completely fricked for letting her take the kids. Completely fricked. Ask anyone who has experience with family court. No judge will take those kids from their mother after theyre settled. Hope he enjoys seeing them every other weekend in the summer. He needs to file divorce in Louisiana yesterday and go get the kids back in his house. Immediately.
What a moron. Tell him to go get the kids back.
And why in the frick has he not been talking to an attorney since the day you started this thread and we all told you to tell him to get an attorney.

Can a married Louisiana person/resident move a child to another state without the spouse's permission?

OP's little bitch nephew drove a Uhaul across the country to pick his wife up from the house she was getting dicked down in. I'm sure he gave her permission.

And that is where he fricked up. My buddy let this happen and he never got his daughter back. That was a grievous error.
