Might as well strike Mother's Day off the calendar if that is the case.
What would your life be like
Posted by Roadkill Gumbo on 4/13/18 at 9:22 am
if you married the one the got away?
I've thought about this often and to be perfectly honest, I have no fricking clue. I probably would've ended up living somewhere around Dallas, no kids, (she didn't want kids) working at a plant and God knows what else.

Your toughest life lessons
Posted by Roadkill Gumbo on 4/12/18 at 9:19 am
I've had many life lessons taught to me over the years, but the biggest and hardest was watching Dementia strip everything from my mom and reduced her to a person that no one knew. Share your time wisely with loved ones, because you never know what life will throw at you.

I've never been a person to wear rings or any type of jewelry around my hands, since I work a lot with my hands.

Some dog I got too. We call him Egypt because he leaves a pyramid in every room.

I deleted my account a long time ago. Too much drama for me.
re: what's the worst experience you've had with a drunk chick
Posted by Roadkill Gumbo on 4/6/18 at 11:37 am to L1C4
While at my cousin's send off party (he was going into the army the next day), I got nominated to take a completely trashed chick to her house some 30 minutes away. We literally had to pick her up and carry her to my car and prop her up in the front seat. She was knocked out! My cousin sat in the backseat and fell asleep on the way to her house. When I got close to her house, there was a sharp curve in the road that caused her to fall over on me and that's when she chunked up all over me.

frick all of you chicken neck skinny motherfrickers. I got me a big bag of pork skins, a couple of cases of Dixie beer and a cartoon of smokes. Going to enjoy this cool weather while it last. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it :nana:

Started off my career working for a local company but eventually saved up enough money to put down on my own rig. Been on my own for 20 years. It was worth it to me, made some good money travelling all around the country, but you do spend a lot of time away from loved ones when you're on your own.

Doesn’t Christianity teach that we should forgive and help those that have fallen off the path of enlightenment?
A couple of weeks after my dismissal from the household, me and my mom had a long sit down talk about things and she forgave me for all that had happened, but I didn't want to go back. I couldn't live underneath her rules anymore, but I don't fault her for laying down the law on me, I needed something like that to happen to straighten my dumb arse up.

You must be leaving something out. I don't believe your parents kicked you out of the house only for smoking weed
Actually I did because I didn't want to turn this thread into a religious debate on whether or not there's a God.
My mom (RIP) was a very religious person with strict rules and I guess I was rebelling against those rules, but the thing that got me kicked was when I told her I didn't believe in her God anymore and that's when the shite hit the fan.
That should get me some downvotes for sure

I'd imagine there is more than this. if your parents kicked you out of the house in high school for just weed, they have some issues
Religious parents don't tolerate the devil's work in their house. That's the polite way of saying it.
The moment you knew you fricked up

A long time ago when I was around 16, I got mixed up with the wrong people and I started partying pretty hard, smoking weed and all the other dumb shite I was doing. Anyway, one morning I got up still woozy from the night before, picked up my clothes off the floor and threw them in the laundry basket. I was going to do my laundry but my head was bad off so I said frick it, I'll do it later. Took some aspirin for my head and took my morning run down the lakefront (Mandeville) to help get some of the previous night's poison out of my system.
About 45 minutes later, I'm walking down the street from my parent's home, sweaty and tired and I looked down the street to see my mom and step-father standing on the front porch and there were clothes scattered out in the front yard. When I got closer, my mom held up a bag of weed and all I could say was oh frick. Needless to say, I got booted from their house and had to finish out HS living with my older sister and her husband.
Ok OT its your turn..
