Coco was fantastic, incredible animation with fantastic music and a great family message.

Can’t wait to see it again.

This. Family of 5 walked out last night wiping our eyes and laughing. Kids told stories of their grandparents on the way home to “remember” them.

Mmmmm, not really. From the first few minutes, you know she’s key for the end. Her father didn’t kill himself and she’s the title character. You know from the first 2 minutes she is key to it.

Fiancée dragged me to see it and I'm glad she did. I'm not a cartoon person, and Coco was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Beautifully animated and a very smart, touching movie that shows the importance of family while also staying true to yourself.

The worst part was the bland, Christmas-advertisement for Frozen. Way too long and dull with forgettable, cheap songs. It's entire plot was to remind parents to buy Frozen stuff for their kids this year. A weird miss for Disney/Pixar to try and steal some of Coco's thunder by letting this "short" air before the film.

Watched it yesterday as well with the SO and 2 girls, 14 and 8.

It was ok to me,I actually preferred the Book of Life as well as my 8yo.

14yo though Coco was better. Story is a lil different but both deal with Los Muertos

Took my kids to see it today. We all liked it. My middle loved it as did I. She's more sentimental than the others. Now wants to celebrate day of the dead.

I may have silently shed a bucket of tears. Death stuff does that to me.

Good movie I'm glad we saw.

Exactly our sentiments. The Frozen short played like a forgettable tv episode. Pretty sure that’s how long it was too. Little girl next to me said loudly, “Finally” which drew lots of chuckles throughout the theater.

The movie was great. Excellent visuals and story. Yeah... the ending...

We just saw it tonight

Enjoyed the heck out of it. I'll echo what you and zombie said about the needless frozen short after already watching 15 minutes of previews.

Our showtime was 6:45 and the actual movie started at about 7:25

Just saw it, thought it was great but I thought the music would be much better since it's a movie about musicians.

Side note, I Can't believe there was a 20 minute frozen short beforehand, Disney should know better. Put it at the end so people that don't want to see it don't have to watch it.

Saw it today. This is one of Pixar's best. Loved the story and the animation and visuals were insanely good.

That frozen "short" was ridulouslu too long. It wasn't bad, but I was annoyed.

Don’t, it’s astoundingly overrated, and honestly, the worst pixar film that doesn’t feature talking automobiles. Disjointed plot that was clearly altered halfway through production (Elsa was originally the villain) bad parenting, annoying songs that have been played to death, and kinda a bad message overall. It does score some points for the way it takes aim at typical fairy tald cliches, but other than that, really came away disappointed.
