New Pixar film. Probably going this weekend with the wife and kid. Looking forward to it, especially being another original from Pixar.

I will be there this weekend. Pixar has only made like one or two movies I didn't like.

Cars two was absolutely horrible. Other than that, most are at least okay. Good dinosaur was meh. I liked Brave, Cars, Monsters University, and even Cars 3. The rest are really good to great movies.

At 94%. The reviewers are saying that it’s Ratatouille meets Spirited Away. One critic of course is outraged by the cultural appropriation, like being pissed off about them stereotyping Mexicans as liking tamales and tequila.

But yeah, I’ll be home tomorrow, and my mom and I are big Pixar fans, so we’ll probably go to it on Wednesday, even though I know she will be crying buckets at the end of it given what the reviews have said.

My kid keeps watching the preview so I’m sure we’ll go. Wasn’t too excited till I watched a featurette about it on YouTube. Looks like it’s gonna be good.

I’ve also seen so many trailers I’m positive I know how it ends.

No. Not paying $15 a person for my wife and I to watch a children’s virtue signaling film

Two Pixar threads in and I’m convinced you’re retarded.

Two Pixar threads in and I’m convinced you’re fragile and break easily.

That wasn’t crying but since you’re the one still hung up on it, it must have hurt you.

Pixar isn’t really a virtue signaling studio. They teach more innate than political messages, with the Incredibles and WALL-E being somewhat exceptions, and good ones at that.

Like for instance Inside Out was a great defendant of Sadness being perhaps the most important emotion. That is a very shocking message for a film, and really that has been Pixar’s message for a while is the power of sadness. And from the reviews, it’s looking like they’re following suit on that again.

Oh you were very upset. And it’s called a retort. I wasn’t hurt. I was amused at how sad it was.

If Coco is virtue signaling simply because it’s a story about a different culture then I guess the same goes for Brave?

Retort from something that happened yesterday that would be forgettable to most? One comment = very upset and crying? Compared to your multiple comments still griping about it and me merely responding lol. If that was very upset, you’re having a nuclear meltdown.

I honestly forgot that it happened yesterday. Felt longer ago. But you didn’t. And you made more than one comment. It was a conversation... online... that took place over an 8 hour period. I’m supposed to forget that in less than a day?

I’m trying to get you back on topic even now but you won’t. Again, was Brave virtue signaling?

Suuuure. Look, we will say you won if it makes you feel better because obviously a little victory on the internet means a lot to you.

Never watched it. Idk.

It’s a fictional story set in ancient Ireland.

Fine. You haven’t seen it.

Why, then, do you think Coco is virtue signaling? You haven’t seen it either.
