Anyone bought a new rifle for deer season this year?

I built 6.5 Grendel ar15 platform for this season. Anyone else decided it was time to upgrade or just wanted a new gun?

Not for deer season (I only bow hunt whitetails). But I just put this little combo together for Elk next year.

Just bought a stainless tikka left hand 308 last night on a whim. Been wanting it for a while.
Also placed my order for a manners EHT 100% carbon fiber stock in their elite webb dark grey. 6 month lead time is going to bite but I get to play with loads until then.
For now a 3x9 vx3 I've had sitting around will sit atop it in a DNZ one piece. That will be changed eventually for a swaro most likely.
I'm really hoping somewhere will thread the 308 with a 1/2-28 thread so that I can put my ASR muzzle break and utilize my omega on it as well. I think I would like to cut and crown at 20" but don't want to mess up a good thing with the factory crown at 22" so I'm at a loss for what to do.
Paging Carson will Bowies thread my 308 lite tikka barrel with 1/2-28??

Picked up a Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor yesterday.

Browning Medallion X Bolt 6.5 Creedmoor. I'm pretty excited about this one. On a side note, my scope was delivered to the wrong address and the jackass who received it wouldn't fess up. Optics Planet covers packages 100%

Picked up an Xbolt Hells Canyon Speed 300wsm topped with a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14 CDS for elk but hoping to roll a whitetail before my CO trip in November.

Finally broke down and decided to see what all the fuss is about with these 6.5 Creedmoors. Caught the Bergara Hunter on sale at Whittaker's for $599 and put a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 on it from Cameralandny on sale for $319. As big of a Tikka fan as I am this quickly became my favorite sub $1k rig. It's the only factory rifle I've found that'll shoot with my .260 Tikka and that's saying something because that .260 will flat stack em as long as you let the barrel cool some after a every few shots. I quickly decided to start saving up for a Bergara HMR in 6.5 as soon as I saw what the Hunter model was capable of

Sulzer built me a 6.5 Grendel too. Going to drop a Zeiss on it and put some shots down range tomorrow.

Bought a Savage 12fv 308, for deer, elk, and antelope here in Colorado. Gun cost $375 and I snagged a Vortex Crossfire II 4x12x44 for $135. Its got a 26 inch heavy barrel which makes her on the heavy side, but i have plans on getting the barrel fluted which should take some of that weight off.
