How high is savannah? For some reason I always want to think the squares are up higher and you have to walk down 50 feet or so the river street. Is my memory wrong?

That was insane. I wonder what happened to the camera?
That island is going to be flat torn up.

If they get hit like that video I just watched from St. Martin that boat will be no more.

This guy is posting updates from Anguilla. Though it's been all quiet for about 45 minutes, when he was reporting guts of ~85.

The city itself won't be too bad. Where everyone lives is a different story. The in town neighborhoods flood badly due to poor drainage. Most others live on the islands and that is not a good look.

Wow!! They just did a broadcast on TWC from where Mrs Bio and I got married on St. Thomas back in 06!! Thank god there are some high spots on the island, and St. John where we honeymooned. Virgin Gorda will be flattened!! Sucks because we loved going to the baths there. Gonna be tons of devastation all through that area!!

How the hell can any wildlife be left on any of these islands. Seems all birds would be gone in an instant.

I work in Savannah. You're right, you have to walk down steps to river street, but that's just the main part. As you move further down Bay St (one block up from the river) it drops back down to river level pretty quick, so downtown could definitely see flooding. Shoot, high tide and heavy rain causes flooding, especially headed out towards Tybee.

I love the history in savannah and charleston.
Knowing this thing it will probably dig up that lost nuke and toss it somewhere.

For anyone in the Tampa area that may want one, the Home Depot on Dale Mabry, near Gandy, just got a truckload of generators in.

Barbuda? Yeah looks like no one has had any contact with the island. Around 1500 people
