Anyone nervous tonight for trump's speech? What if he goes off teleprompter?

I, for one, hope he just sticks to reading what is in front of him, and doesn't use this formal address to go in the dirt.
I'm all for him when he targets journalists who want to destroy him, but not in a situation like this.

His Congressional address was very good. I think he will do good on this one.

Aren't you nervous every time he opens his mouth?

Nah he doesn't go off on these kind of speeches

Your threads are embarrassingly bad. Almost as bad as Salmons little responses to everything.

Your Candy-arse probably just needs to put on your Jim Harbough sleep-over jammies and bury your head in the covers.
Why don't you grow and pair and quit acting like a Cucked-Liberal.

Trump supporters don't care if he goes off teleprompter. Just like if he changes his mind on policy and campaign promises.
He needs to stick to his prepared speech. If he goes after Obama or Bush it will look bad to most people except for his base. Like when he said in the speech last Monday that racism wasn't Obama's or Trumps fault, but has been around for a long time.
He needs to act like "The buck stops here".

Obama was criticized because he couldn't speak at all without one. He was robotic and stiff, i.e. um um um, okie dokie etc..
Trump is far more effective without a teleprompter.
Trump won the office due to his ability to freestyle with no teleprompter.
Your little quip is invalid.

Shouldn't you be more nervous that he's going to pull another complete 180 and ramp up the war effort in Afghanistan?

It's really cute that people still think "the media" is Trump's worst nightmare. Trump's worst nightmare is Trump. Think about literally every objectively verified scandal currently plaguing this administration.
Whether you think the stories are sensationalized or not, Trump's own direct actions (or those of people close to him) are the cause... not the big bad wolf of the media.
For a bunch of people that stress personal accountability so much, y'all are sure willing to let Trump skate without taking responsibility for his stupidity.

Teleprompter? the hell for?
he can't just read directly off her teleprompter...but there would be no emotion, no truth. He just can't read speeches.

Maybe Flynn. Doubtful it could be called an objectively verified scandal, though.
Which ones are you talking about?

I like going to watch presidents speak. I have seen the last 4 presidents speak and the only one I saw use a telepromter was GWB.
GHWB in person was not as boring as he looks on TV. It was in the mid 90's when I saw him. Probably the best when it came to content.
BC was walking around the stage and it looked like he was looking right at you at times.
GWB was running for his second term and it was the worst because it was the same speech he had given probably 50 times. It wasn't bad he just lacked enthusiasm.
BO had a different type of crowd(probably excited like Trumps). People were yelling and he fed off the crowd which made it really good. Probably the best when it came to atmosphere.
I'm sure Trump is much like BO and feeds off the crowd, but it makes him go off script. I have not seen him yet, because Rubio was the only presidential candidate that came to this part of the state. Trump is probably pretty exciting to watch, but he probably needs to stay on script a little more often.
