Either way, they seemed very well prepared to battle WWs or wights.

I enjoyed it. The bros beyond the wall was always a good time. Arya is getting really annoying though. There's not much of a reason for her to be up Sansa's arse 24/7 and her crazy eyes routine is something Williams should have thought out and worked on more.
I'm starting to think that Jon may never find out that he's Dany's nephew. Bran might just say frick it and let him marry her without saying anything. Plus, the audience wouldn't be reminded of their yucky love.
Where is The Hound going? Is he the wight emissary to KL? Is Cleganebowl confirmed?
The dragon being killed and becoming an wight dragon spoiler was obviously legit. Several people posted it in these threads. I had read that Thoros dies in some YouTube comments, so it's nice to get that over with.

seems that way to me

Since the Hound didn't go down heroically beyond the wall, I think that Cleganebowl is pretty much fricking confirmed.

I'd say prison guard moreso than emissary. Tormund is really the only one in the group that would stay at Eastwatch. Everyone else might as well catch a ride back to civilization on the boat.

OR they referenced her inability to get pregnant a few times already this season what if she does get pregnant and Jon sacrifices himself protecting her?
But it is pretty obvious one of them will not make it.

most of them had them. Jorah and two knives, Tormund had a axe, Hound had a knife when he finally decided to start going ham. Beric, Thoros and Jon did not because two had the flaming swords and Jon had Longclaw. I believe Gendry had a DG knife as well but didn't use because he had to Forest Gump it back to Eastwatch

"I'm gonna make babies with her."

Jon doesn't need one, he has Valyrian steel. Jorah is dual wielding dragon glass daggers. Thoros and Beric have flaming swords that (presumably) kill wights/WWs. Gendry (then Sandro) has a hammer that will work really well on Wights (if not WWs).
It looks like the weapons wielded by a number of the wilding dudes are using dragon glass strapped to sticks.
Tormund also had a Samoan/Hawaiian type of weapon with dragon glass blades, and The Hound dropped Gendry's war hammer, and pulled out a dragon glass hatchet.

It was an ax with two DG blades on it which I guess could be a Hawaiian type. It threw for a loop for a second because I thought he had broken the battle axe he was carrying around while shooting the shite with the Hound.

Here is a picture I found showing the weapons used. The only weapon it doesn't show is the one the Hound started using once he dropped the war hammer.

A) Why would you assume that Jon gets the larger of the two and B) What does it matter? Just curious.
A) I assumed Jon would get the larger of the dragons, because that would be symbolic of him (and his storyline) taking the lead.
War vs Night King>>> war for Iron Throne
Jon's claim>>>Dany's claim (I don't really have issue with her's, though).
quote:It doesn't matter for gender purposes, but I just assume at some point Dany submits to Jon as the leader. And really, she has... she pledged to fight the Night King before he said he would submit and call her Queen. She no longer demands any knee bending, she's in. So that elevates Jon, as this is HIS quest now.
B) What does it matter?

Trying to recall if I heard this correctly, when Thoros was injured, were they still marching on?
I vaguely recall them stating they would go back after that point, so when they met up with the NK's crew, were they on their way back?

I don't know...if it had been me, I'd have made some arrows or spears out of dragon glass before I took my arse out there.

No. Jorah said they need to get him back to Eastwatch and then Thoros got Beric to cauterize the wound with the flaming sword and they continued on so he could die a little later.

And how many arrows would each of the 7 have? 80 arrows each times 7 = 560, and that's assuming 100% accurate kill shots. Sure it'd take out a decent amount but wouldn't even have been enough to change the odds of the fight.

You think they will find the way to forge Valyrian steel again with all the dragon glass, or will they just make weapons with the glass? Sam grabbed books and scrolls from the Citadel before he left, and Gendry is a very skilled sword smith.

A few NFL scouts prob looking at that arm on NK.
They're not interested since his score on the Wunderlick Test was too low . . . why sit there and wait for the ice to re-freeze for the wights to attack? Ride your lazy arse down the hill and touch the freaking water with your big icicle spear and get the party started!

I would be using the captured wight as my guinea pig until I got the mixture right. Keep stabbing him and then boom when he dies R&D is complete time start production.

I saw it in the flames. They will be monsters.
