Stay out of it for sure. She might get things fricked up for you at work. Women are strange in these situations. You and everyone else thinks she needs to leave him but she still loves him blah, blah, blah.

As much as I want to be funny in this matter... Your comment may make him back off.. or at least ease up a little. It also make her realize she needs to gtfo of there.
She also could be the agressor and those marks could be defensive marks on his part. Some females arms bruise when you grab them and restrain them. Being that it's on the neck, she could be a crazy bitch and it takes a good throat grab to make them back the frick up. Either way, it prob did more good than harm.
