Place I goto got top3
Who makes the best hamburger in New Orleans? We asked you to nominate your favorites on NOLA.com and on social media, and you responded enthusiastically, with 91 nominations of everything from no-frills burger joints to classy places with white cloth napkins.
Then it was time to vote, and more than 3,300 votes were cast for the title of Best Burger in New Orleans. Who won? Read one as we count down to the No. 1 hamburger.
And by the way, our top New Orleans burger will go head-to-head against the best burger on the North Shore in a taste-off judged by members of the NOLA.com/Times-Picayune food and dining team. Stay tuned to NOLA.com for more.

Dumb that Cowbell is so low, ridiculous that High Hat and LPG aren't even on the list.
Ate a damn good Lamb-burger at Delachaise this past weekend.

I'll admit I used to hit up Bud's Broiler after a late night in the city as much as anyone else....but to call that the best burger in NOLA is a damn joke.

No Phil's grill?
That deep fried burger is the best heart attack ever.

I voted for Luke, and am completely disappointed at the list. The ones they got right were Cowbell, Brown Butter, and Fharmacy. Honorable mentions could be Company Burger, Port of Call, and Beachcorner.

I love Bud's, but I'll take a Brewster burger in da Parish over Bud's any day.

That photo of the burger from Bud's looks like shite. Best in New Orleans? Based on that photo I'd take a Whopper over that.

The best burger in town is at a place where I would never order a burger - La Petite Grocery.

Not a single person mentioned Charcoal? Place is frickin great, and far better than most of that list

The veal burger at Cristiano's in Houma blows all of these away. If you don't know by now you better find out.

Amongst those 10, Beachcorner is way too low. For places like Luke, La Petite Grocery and other similar restaurants, why would you order a burger there? Not enough people will, I wouldn't, therefore not enough votes.

No one has said GB's and I'm fricking angry.

Cowbell or La Petit Grocerie is the best burger in NOLA
