So @real's knee-jerk reaction was to try to bluff a serious man, who is secure in what he believes happened, who wrote a memo immediately after the meeting to capture that recollection when it was fresh. Just because he didn't personally make them and does not have them does not mean they do not exist. He just put some chum in the water for Comey to frick with his head so Comey will think he is free to lie only to later, BOOM, hit him with the truth.
