Yeah, no one has to go to all of the events, I think they put together a package you can pick from (1 for those who plan on going on Friday and/or Sunday but not the cruise, those who plan on going on the cruise only or those who plan on going on Friday and/or Sunday and the cruise).

It's sort of perplexing to me that THEY'D be doing something so elaborate.

Go visit Plaquemine for an extended time and you'll see why. High school was probably the pinnacle of their lives.

Plus they tend to do dumb extravagant shite like this for everything.

I went to my 40th. The ones that aren't dead were chain smoking at the entrance and a lot of them were smoking weed - at the entrance.

That head cheerleader at 40 years removed was now a noseguard.

Homecoming Queen looked better now though and has 5 sons.

I hate this kind of shite. It was probably planned by that one person who thinks high school was the best time of their life; the person who peaked at 17 years old.

Might as well go. Best case scenario its fun and you get drunk. Worst case scenario it sucks and you get drunk.

I'd go that sounds like fun for people that aren't antisocial

So if I will be tailgating or hanging out with friends, drinking, etc instead of doing the class reunion thing.. I am antisocial?

is, I do not do not plan anything on the weekends that does not involve football and it has to be extremely important for me to go somewhere that is not football related (I seriously do not attend weddings, birthday parties, etc during football season. Ive even pissed family members off because of this),

Jeez....excessive? They have DVR you know, and football comes around every year.

So, between, say Mid-August and end of January, you do nothing on weekends that doesn't involve or revolve around football? WOW! Just my OPINION, but that is really a pathetic life.

Yes, I have had a couple of class reunions that had event on all 3 days. Some people went to all, some skipped one or more.

I will guess that if your life is really as you describe it, nobody will miss you at any of the events anyway.

Stop bitching, "badass"!

Ours are usually similar. Last few were to meet at the high school football game on Friday night, which I never do. Meet with your family some time on Saturday which I never do and then the reunion Saturday night, which I usually do. One time was when LSU played Ole Miss. I told them they wouldn't get many people unless a TV was available. The organizers got one in place and I sat in front of it the entire game. Well, actually, we watched part of it at home before we left arriving fashionably late!

My graduating class from brusly high has one upped you, apparently they want to do an 18 year reunion, next year in June. An all weekend cruise.

Sounds a bit much, I'll be studying my my licensing exam to practice as an occupational therapist so I'm not doing that crap

It boggles my mind, and I know it shouldn't because this is TD, that so many people are so stuck on football that they can't live their lives or interact with the people they love (those bitching about weddings or birthdays) because of it.

Many have substituted the deity for football, and the family for football. That's scary.

I mean, I get together with friends, drink and eat... And watch football. But I enjoy football a lot. You act like I am the only person who will not go to a wedding or other stuff during football season.. Especially during LSU games.
