I didn't go to my 20th because it was done the night before Father's Day. It was an all day thing. Family stuff during the day and dinner (adults only) that night. I'm from a small town in LA and went to a private school. Graduated with 36 people. Problem is more than half that number went to college and didn't move back. A lot of that number don't have family in that same town anymore. Additionally, if you don't have family close, you don't have childcare. I felt it was crappy having it on Fathers Day weekend. It would have be an an epic poop storm if the guys had planned it on Mother's Day weekend. Result was about 12 people showed up,most of which were the girls that planned the reunion.

We had a few in my 20 that ballooned on up quite nicely. Been waiting on some funerals since but none that I have heard about. I got 30 in 3 years.

At least now you know why you're single.

I thought he said he had a wife, could get wood, etc.

If you are really single you should go and hit on everything with a vag that didn't bulk up.

I haven't read the thread so I'm sure this has been asked many times but who the hell, especially in the south, plans anything for a fall saturday?

CW. Don't talk about Brusly. It hurts their feelings because those who live there think the high school is Harvard and the town is Beverly Hills.

I think it's a knock on the negative introverts who spend all their waking hours dog shitting others on the OT.

The reunion sounds fun though - that's usually a fun weekend in Nola.

When I go back I always bully the same people I bullied in high school

The nerds are supposedly gonna "be my boss one day" but they're still dorks and I'm the salesman of the month so who's laughing now?

A weekend event is pretty normal for reunions. My 20th was similar and my husband's (high school and college) have all been multiple day affairs.

I know when my class was planning ours, it was originally just a night out, drinks and appetizers. Then the organizers were complaining in the alumni Facebook group that no one was buying tickets to come. People who had moved out of the area started responding saying that a cocktail party wasn't enough to justify the time and expense to travel home, others said they didn't want to go to an event centered around alcohol. They made it a weekend thing, with multiple events to accommodate those who just wanted to go out, who wanted to see everyone but not have it be a drink fest, and those who wanted to show off their families. They got a lot more people to come to at least one event when there were choices. It wasn't a requirement to be at every single event planned.

I didn't go because frick high school reunions.

Better than the morans at my school. They planned a 3 day cruise. LOFL, I already hang out with the couple people that I want to that I went to school with. No way will I get trapped on a trashy Carnival boat with a couple hundred people I have little interest in sharing a meal with much less a 3 day weekend.

Jebus. Unreal. As shitty as you are on here, I was hoping that its all a TD act like Lucas P, Scruffy (on the OT), or Owlie being straight... you're worse in person. At the end of the day, its a fricking game. How pathetic is your wife to marry someone that won't block out time for family events? Y'all are perfect for each other.

Pics may be required.

How about scheduling weddings on the 40 Saturdays a year that are not LSU games? The only realistic excuse is if the bride is preggars.
