This includes traditional as well as spread option QBs. A few names pop out almost immediately: Darian Hagan (Colorado), Eric Crouch (Nebraska), Pat White (West Virginia), Tim Tebow (Florida), and Tommie Frazier (Nebraska).

Frazier by a pretty wide margin.

Not the best but Dak is certainly better than a couple of those names.

Not sure I would consider Tebow an option QB. But if he is, Tebow has to be the answer.

Strictly option QBs would be Frazier for me.

Tebow?!?! Hell no! Was he one of the greatest college football players? Sure. Definitely not one of the greatest option QBs though.

I would offer Kennan Reynolds as well (dude did break the all-time NCAA touchdown record).

Eric Crouch was fun as hell to watch though.

Tommie Frazier is tGOAT, but Nick Marshall is underrated. His read option was a thing of beauty and he was slippery as hell once running

Tommie Frazier has the best resume...

But the best I ever saw was...

Jamelle Holieway...

He was so good, he led OU to the national title despite the fact that he couldn't throw worth a damn. But running he was so elusive and quick. Far better runner than Frazier (who was a better passer).
