Every night. Even travel with it.

The $17 one from walmart. Level 3. Works like a charm. I HAVE to have it.

Years of sleeping next to a window unit make it hard to go to sleep without sound

This, about time to fire up the old window unit again. I am glad there is a tree outside the bedroom window that hides it.

You think a ceiling fan gives you pink eye?

Yep. Slept with an OT poor box-fan all my life...

I don't but SO does

We've bought 6 dollar box fans on vacation before so she could sleep.

When I'm by myself I use one of those small retro vornado fans, just the right size for noise and air circulation

Someone is farting into your fan

Used to do that on the jobsites. Ol baw at the cutting table with the fan blowing on him 20 feet away, drop a ripe one on the intake side and walk away. Really bad for the poor bastard on the ladder.

New house doesn't have a ceiling fan in the master

Then buy one and put it up. What is so hard about this?

I don't know the brand, but I have to have a loud fan or white noise machine. I'm about to order this to go with the fan: LINK

It's gonna sound like there's a jet engine in my bedroom.

I've never been someone who needed noise or a fan. If I was tired I'd go to sleep.

That being said, my wife needs the white noise (yea that's right) and I've gotten used to it over the years. When she isn't at home and I don't turn on the fan, it's amazing how much noise it actually blocks out. I can certainly understand how people can't sleep without them.

My wife used a 20" box fan and one son does this as well. They like the noise generated from the fan. I don't care for the noise.

Ceiling fan on lowest setting.

Anything more and I wake up with my eyes, nose, and throat bone dry.
