With the options it's closer to 200 than 160 but not near the asking price, he's using the 12 to 14 month waiting list to his advantage. If some baller wants one now they'll offer him 250 and get a sale done I imagine. Doesn't bother me, more power to him, hell I've seen guys buy someones spot on the build list for over 10k on a 100k bay boat just so they'd get their boat 12 months earlier.

I just dont see him coming close to that price, maybe if it was only taken out like 3 times

They have another one posted up on THT for only $175k. It shouldnt last long at all.

250 hours supposedly.

I didn't see the year listed but this is not close to new imo. 250 hours isn't high but this boat wasn't just kept in a warehouse I can't see him getting over 190k for this. He just doesn't even seem close on price to what it's worth.

There are plenty of idiots with money out there. I think around $200k would be max.
I'd be worried with those big screen gps systems. I could see the first fish i brought on board would sling a jighead right through it. Butttt if you pay that much for the boat, i guess a screen repair is pocket change.

It's frick you money expensive, but it is Hull #1. I know you or I couldn't care less, but that will fetch a premium price from some jack leg. Really nice boat though.
People will laugh all day at the price of "just a bay boat" but it doesn't matter because this one in particular isn't aimed at regular joes like us.

Bents had a 2016 Contender Bay w/400 vrod, ttops etc. for $110k new. I would just get a contender and a YF24 new for this price. And just alternate them.

here's a nice quote from that thread that says it all

I think he'll sell it- not for what he wants, but for significantly over the original list.
A few factors- there is a TON of big money in S. Florida. They aren't scared to spend it,
either. Lots of young guys who are showing off- either have been early on successful,
or family already had money.
It's becoming common for one of the aforementioned to offer to buy boat slots so they can jump the line- West Palm friend of mine fishes with a group of guys- older Sea Vee. Main guy says let's upgrade and he orders a new 32. I understand wait is 18 months. Nearing build date, he is approached by a new customer who offers him $30 grand to go back to the back of the line.
He went to the back of the line.

My 11 year old skeeter has under 200 hours on it. Someone used this one a lot early on.

You would have to be a moron to purchase that boat at that price.

FLIR?!?!?! cmon man
Ran all the way back from MRGO rocks after dark one night. FLIR came in mighty handy. You can see well enough to pick up the crab floats on top the water.
Still pretty scary stuff running at night though.
