Westwood. He's arguably the best ball-striker on tour.

Rickie is only 28, I wouldnt throw him into the conversation for another 3-4 years. Bubba and Duff didnt get a major until their 30's and hell Phil didnt get his first major until his 13th year on tour.

I hate to say it but Kuch but holy hell I love that man

It's Westwood. Outside of the Masters in 2012, Kuchar really hasn't put himself in real contention to win a major.

Westwood has been in contention plenty of times, and is a former #1 ranked player in the world.

Rickie's way too young for that title and has only won 4 times on tour.

Snedeker is up there too. Multiple event winner. Won the FedEx Cup. In his 30's. No majors.

Straight up best player is Matsuyama, but I don't think its long before he wins one. What you actually meant when you ask the question, probably Snedeker or Westwood. Now that Sergio has won though, I don't really think there's a guy out there that would make you say "damn how has this guy not won a major?"

If you don't do the "on tour" part it's probably me.

If you think about the question as who do you think will be the next first time major winner, which is how I interpret the question, I think the answer is Thomas Pieters followed closely by Ricky.

You guys seem to be answering the question of who has had the best career to this point and not won a major, which is Westwood, but his window has virtually closed.

I was about to respond with Davis Love III but I forgot that he won the PGA back in the late 90s.

It's Lee Westwood and he's never going to win one. It's tough to win a major when you can't putt, and Westwood can't putt.

ETA: My brain was thinking scrambling, but I typed putting. Westwood isn't good enough around the greens to win a major.
