Creative ways to encourage or deal with a SO who hasn't aged well?

Let's say she pops out a kid or two and now you have a fat wife that just has no desire to get in shape. Balloons up even more over the next couple of years.

Or a husband who lets the stresses of everyday life get the best of them and are now progressively balding and going up in pants sizes.

Regardless of discussions, they think gyms are nasty and superficial, no room in the house for home gym equipment, and have zero concepts of what healthy eating is.

Ideas?

I started bringing hot women home. Eventually my wife got the idea. She doesn't even bother us anymore.

All they would need is some yoga mats and a few weights. After that they need to research how to eat and have the will power to follow through. From your description it doesn't sound like they are willing to do this.

If you're the man, learn to cook. She'll eat healthy if you're preparing the meal. And every time she loses a little bit of weight, praise her for it. She'll feel motivated.

Disclaimer: All this is in theory. I've never been in that situation.

Get competitive with with friends and family with a step counter or weight loss challenge. My parents are getting old and after they got their fit bits they walk about ~10-11k a day.

Sometimes this place is just a collective of the most insecure motherfrickers on the planet.

You eat well. They will see your body and get motivated.

ETA:

My wife has seen the effects of having three children. But for some reason, I find that attractive. A gym type person would get on my nerves.

Start out by doing active stuff together. Go on hikes/long walks. Not around the neighborhood, go to state parks and walk the 5 mile trail etc....

Let them realize that they are fat shits by putting them in situations that force them to test their limits. Enjoying the outdoors while this realization happens may give them more incentive to get back in shape. Help them realize that they are missing out on a lot of life.

Stop eating out/drinking as much as you were. Big portions will fatten you up with the quickness. Alcohol will make you not care. If you must eat out start trying new restaurants that have a healthy focus.

Last item is intervention. If you got kids let them deliver the message for you. This includes manipulation but whatever.

She no longer cares about you, nor herself. It's over, so go the girlfriend route. Or, start making fun of her. If you are female and bitching about your husband, cut him some slack.

You promised to love her through sickness and health and everything else till death do you part. This doesn't mean divorce them as soon as they get fat. Discuss it together and try to motivate one another to get into shape and stay that way.

There is nothing you can do. It is genetic.

Should have taken a closer look at the mom before getting married.

You should be able to discuss this like mature adults

I would hope my wife would be honest enough with me to say something if I became a fat slob

Dude, just how fat is your wife? I know I've seen you post about it three times. You really need to talk with her if it's this bad.

How much garbage are you keeping on your pantry? Why don't you start going grocery shopping and do the cooking and prepare stuff that is healthy.

Husband to wife: Tell her she needs to shed some pounds. Make comments how her friends are in shape. I've done it. It worked.

Wife to husband: Tell him he's getting fat and needs a hair transplant
