No. People shouldn't be in the country illegally. SCOTUS says it's constitutional, though.
Thanks Brennan.

No but it really is a tough situation there. If we know they are illegal deport them quickly I suppose.

Depends on the state and funding for education. In Texas, for example, illegal immigrants pay the same state taxes as citizens. Thus, they are benefitting from a service they pay in to.

They also get free healthcare. Such a raw deal to us LEGAL taxpayers to support all this shite

Im not saying you're wrong, but how are they paying state income taxes?

Is this a trick question? If they are born here, under current law, they are legal immigrants, not illegal immigrants.
Posted on 1/26/17 at 1:38 am to Skyler97
No. If they can't show proof of citizenship they should be trucked to the border.
Posted on 1/26/17 at 1:48 am to Skyler97
No. And just being born in US should not mean automatic citizenship, if parent/s is not a citizen.

quote:No income tax in Texas. Only sales and property taxes. It's a reasonable argument since rents will be burdened with property tax. Where it fails in Texas is that there is a cap on what can be spent at larger districts, then they have to send excess collections to the state, where the funds are redistributed to poorer districts where the property tax is lower.

It's a communistic way of having funding for the districts where the illegal immigrants settle. This puts undue burden on the wealthier districts to raise property taxes to unreasonable levels in order to support this 'Robin Hood' law.
Then finally, as some of the illegal immigrants move into these wealthier districts, since the districts are capped on how much tax revenue they can use, this places undue pressure on the school districts to provide teachers and classroom space, meals and bilingual instructors, reducing funds available for the students of the citizens.

Illegal- contrary to or forbidden by law
So no.
So no.

I do hope Trump overturns the anchor baby law.

Again with the "free".
I'm paying a sh!tload in property taxes so ILLEGAL aliens can go to the local public school.
It's not "free" for me.

This is an issue for the individual States.
