I was so wrong - said Bagwell and Pudge had no shot. Thought PED stigma would keep them out for a few more years

Yup. Definitely headed that way. Will be next year or the year after.

Saw him hit a grand slam in Oakland and then one hop third from the track in right. Dude was a freak show and looked awkward doing it lol. Hunter Pence reminds me of him, not numbers wise but just how goofy they look at times.

The baseball HOF is such a fricking joke. Can't elect Griffey unanimously, but they find a way to get Pudge in on the first ballot over Clemens and Bonds.

Since when did Berkman get lumped in as a Killer B with the Astros?

I checked Wikipedia out and the article is wrong.

The Killer Bs for the Astros were Bagwell, Biggio and Derek Bell.

Baseball ownership/management itself was a willful participant in the all-out PED era. They reaped the benefits rather than police it properly. The writers need to fully step down from their ivory tower and accept the facts. Vote the greats into the HoF.

I feel like almost anyone with a B name in that era was lumped in at some point. I think I can remember hearing Sean Berry and Tim Bogar being referred to as part of them

Lol at Curt Schilling going down in votes. People can't separate their own egos from the job they have as a voter.

If Pudge goes in then you have to let Rocket and Bonds in IMO. He was suspected for the same thing also. Bagwell was suspected but they say whatever we let him in. I just find it stupid that the writers think they are keeping the HOF a sacred place but refuse to allow the history to be told completely.

Absolutely well said. Also congrats to Bagwell, Raines, and Pudge for being in the Hall of Fame. Well deserved. Hoffman and Vlad will definitely be in next year though.

its a joke that people cant realize the difference between Clemens and Bonds & their lying to congress about steroid use and with Pudge who has never been a confirmed user, only suspected.

I agree with this also. In addition, I think Clemens and Bonds get in not next year, but likely the year after.

Unfortunately the baseball writers are pricks and Bonds and Clemens will have to wait a few more years. This is what the next four HOF classes will probably look like.

2018

Chipper Jones
Vladimir Guerrero
Trevor Hoffman

2019
Jim Thome
Mariano Rivera
Edgar Martinez

2020
Derek Jeter
Mike Mussina

2021
Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Curt Schilling

Let's stop the roid talk now. If you let Bagwell in that talk is over.

Hoffman is in next year he was at 74 so no way he isn't making it. Id like to see Bonds, Clemens, Chipper, Hoffman and Vlad. Baseball needs a few big classes
