we can probably afford the best QB coach in the entire country year in and year out and coach that position up better than we ever have.

You're a fricking idiot.

ETA: I wanted to make sure i was the first to respond so he's the full length version of my post:

You're a fricking idiot. O's entire candidacy hinged on him hiring an elite OC. PERIOD. If Alleva fricks this up, AGAIN,and ends up having to retain Ensminger as the OC and not relegating him back were he belongs with the TEs, he should be fired IMMEDIATELY.

The only good to come out that is the fact that we'll have a new AD and be able to start this entire shitcan fire over again in 2018 with a, hopefully, competent AD.

Again, you're a fricking idiot.

I would assume Alleva would get a hefty raise for saving the university so much money

Alleva is going to keep following this progression until he is able to conduct a thorough search and hire the best god damn equipment manager in the country.

That would still require all kinds of bagmen.

In LSU's case, the offensive coordinator needs to be the quarterbacks coach. The future of our offensive production needs to start and end with the quarterback. Everything else will take care of itself.

He'd cost way less and be able to hire the best position coaches money can buy! Hell, he may even rip his shirt off!

If germans, deal with it but Coach Ensminger has already said he does not want the OC job. He said he spent too many hours away from his family, sleeping in the office at times, and at this point in his career, he is more than content to just be a position coach.

Seems like it would mean more that the buyouts would be cheap when everyone gets fired in 2-3 years.

Ensminger has already been moved back to his old position. Why are you pretending that didn't happen?

"What if we get Herman or Jimbo?"
"What if we get Kiffin for OC?"
now "What if we get the best QB coach in the country?"

Do ya'll see what's happening here???

So then when we don't hire the best QB coach ever, we can just hire the best Assistant to the QB coach ever, but then we wont
