My BMI says I'm obese, but I'm not. I'm 6'2 225 pounds. I work out 4-5 times a week. According to the BMI chart I'm 40 pounds overweight

My cousin is 6'7 and 410 lbs, I don't think anyone has ever called him obese to his face.

If you're over 20% body fat then you're pretty tubby.

If you're fatter than me, you're a fatty that needs to go ahead and drop dead.

If you're skinnier than me, you're a girly man that needs to eat a cheeseburger.

You're in the overweight range, not obese.

Honestly at 6'2 225 wearing size 36, yes, you're a little fat. Fatter than you should be by BMI standards anyway. You could lose a few % bodyfat and wear 34's easily.

You sound pretty husky.

With decent muscle mass it should be easy to get at around 10% bf which is healthy. 6'2 and 195-200 should about do it

I am in the same category. 6'1" and 220 when I weighed myself the the other night, but 2 months ago I was 235 so I have been eating better and exercising more. I put on the weight while traveling for work and being exhausted by having a new born, but he is 18 months now so I was tired of making excuses. I am working my way down to 190 or 200 which is still considered over weight for my body type, but I feel my best when in that range.
