I have little reason to believe you... but I will. Make it happen, LSU.

Retain Aranda at $2 Million/year.
Retain O for $1 Mil plus $750,000 bonus for doing a good job as interim
Give Corey a promotion (unclear to what)
Retain Ensminger, but as TE coach
Retain Dameyune Craig, I assume as WR coach

So Jimbo is ready to come to BR and he's so looking forward to it that he's decided to let 5/9ths of his on field coaching staff be from holdovers from this staff instead of people he gets to interview/name?

I get him wanting to keep Aranda. That dude is legit. I don't get O being cool going from "the guy" back to D-line coach. Surely if you guys were/are considering him for HC he'll have other options to be a HC, right?

Also, might want to think through the whole Dameyune Craig/Jimbo relationship. Not a given that Jimbo would be quick to sign off on that one.

The entire OP is typical message board talk, right down to the opening line of:

I heard from the top of the LSU media group last spring, that the only reason we didn't get Fisher last year was that he wanted to bring his whole staff with him. Don't know how true, but it was someone definitely in the know.

Would love this setup. Boot Grimes and get Kevin Mawae back down here.

I know Jimbo coached him, hired him, and loves the guy. They're probably fine, but when Craig was approached by AU Jimbo A) advised against going at that time and B) told Craig to go through the process, get an offer, and then let him know what it was so he would have a chance to match or beat it. Craig, supposedly, accepted at AU without giving Jimbo that opportunity after previously agreeing to do so.

Of the entire wish list in the OP (and that's what it is), Craig is probably the most likely to be on Jimbo's staff if he comes to LSU, but Craig being on it is not the given that some may thing just simply based on a passing understanding of their history.

It could be a wish list or it could be a done deal. Your opinion on the matter carries no more weight than the OP's.

Anyways, I'd like to think Jimbo is a bigger man than to let that get in between them. On all accounts they've had a great relationship for quite some time.

But frankly I'm not overly concerned with Craig coming or going.

Wasn't someone's tin foil hat theory that CEO was told from the start that Jimbo was the guy? Could he be keeping it quiet to collect x number of dollars per victory? That would actually be pretty cool and a heck of an incentive.

That's a whole lot of lot of staff to force a new coach to retain.
