I don't know a single LSU "booster". I don't know anyone in the LSU administration. I have no LSU "sources".
I do know Jimbo, his ex-wife, Craig, and several other coaches through a mutual business connection/friend. As I said, Jimbo and Craig are probably fine. I know Jimbo loves the guy, but he was - despite public statements - genuinely upset when Craig left him. not b/c he didn't understand (more money at your alma mater is hard to turn down), but bc Dameyune didn't give him the opportunity to match.
Side note: Jimbo also loves (loved) AU so it wasn't a bad blood thing there.

He might if he considers it home. I'm not saying it's guaranteed, but it's not unheard of. Especially when such a high end option is available for the school at HC. It might just depend on how much he wants to be a head coach at some podunk, small school or if he just wants to stay home and make a million a year doing what he's an expert at. We'll see...

I assume you are joking right? Info about Jimbo has been leaking for weeks and there are still 3 weeks left in the season. Not sure how that is keeping a tight lip on anything.

I see Craig and Raymond stayin on for sure. Jimbo has wanted Raymond for a while. The oline coach they have has dealt with injuries and freshman so maybe he's not as bad as he looks this year

No. I've met him and his ex a handful of times, but we don't have each other's number or anything like that. He and I have a couple of mutual friends, and one in particular that has coached with him. The guy who has coached with him is one that he is close enough to that he'd share his thoughts and that's where I heard about the frustrations Jimbo had with Craig when he left.
My connections in the coaching world are, primarily due to business, almost exclusively Bama and AU related (or someone who has been at one of those schools and is now somewhere else). I do have a contact who worked at FLorida with Fedora. That guy would walk to LSU for the job.

And this is a totally different situation with an interim who's coached 4 games vs a 10 year guy who happens to be the winningest coach in school history. Public outrcy and perception isn't going to be that much of a problem.
