ADMINS if this should be deleted please do so.

It seems that TheHiddenFlask has passed away. I never met him irl but my husband knew his parents and when he was graduating from LSU (I guess with his MBA) we found out about the condo they were selling. My son never met him irl either but I think had contacted him (idk about money topics/hunting).

He was from our area and according to his posts had just passed the CFA L3 which seemed to be a REALLY big deal. He seemed to usually have good, sound advice for people and really seemed to know his shite.

Please keep his family in your prayers ... he was only 29 and had a younger brother (20ish?) as well as a sister but I'm not sure if she was older or younger (thinking in between the two boys).

My heart is breaking for this family.

Well dang, I don't frequent this board much but he's one of the names I always remember seeing in threads here. That sucks.

Confirmed; I found an obituary for him.

Jesus, that's terrible.

That is horrible, do you know if it was an accident or something he had been fighting?

Someone I'm friends with on Facebook posted a few days ago that a very close friend of her husband's had passed. Based on the information you listed and looking at the obituary, I'm fairly certain it's the same individual. It's a damned shame; I enjoyed his posts here.

Wow, that's awful when I hear of anybody going that young. Didn't "know" the guy but definitely "knew" him on here. Didn't always agree with him, but he more often than not provided solid advice. He'll be missed. Prayers to his family and friends.

Awful to hear. Never knew the guy personally, but as others have said, one of the few on here that you sit up in your chair to read their posts. My heart goes out to his family.

Wow. I knew him IRL from college. We shared a good bit of mutual friends. Never knew that was him posting here.

Man, horrible to hear. As a long time lurker, his posts really stood out and he could hold his own against the best of them. Only 29 and just passed CFA III. Seems like he was already professionally successful and could only imagine what his next steps would have been. Life taken way too short. RIP.

HiddenFlask was a great guy and a highly intelligent young man. I was lucky to attend grad school with him, and I'll certainly be keeping his family and friends in our prayers.

Still very shocking. He'll be missed.
