What are you talking about?
They are winning in the court of public opinion. I mean, I agree with your assessment on the validity of their protests, but at the end of the day they are having an effect, and given enough times the laws of the country will change because of it.

It is a crime when you are a convicted felon dumbass.

I love the 'don't judge by his past' garbage response the sheepish Marxists are regurgitating. Yes. Let's not judge him for his sexual abuse of a child. Or that he beat women. Or that he liked to break into other places. Or that he was thousands behind in child support.
OR THAT HE WAS PREVIOUSLY ARRESTED FOR POSSESSING A FIREARM AS A FELON AND RESISTED ARREST WHILE SELLING PIRATED MOVIES AND MUSIC IN 2009. (sound familiar?)
Nope. Clean slate after the 35th arrest and HOW DARE YOU JUDGE HIM. He certainly wasn't the stereotypical trash that's the problem with this city...

The level of ignorance shown by individuals in these situations is extremely astounding and startling.

Yet there was no outrage when a JPSO cop was gunned down in Harvey a few weeks ago. Not a peep.

They suck at picking martyrs, for sure.

It's pretty clear he was not holding the gun but what is not clear is if he was reaching for his gun in his right pocket. His left arm was restrained The cop that yelled he has a gun was still wrestling with his right arm. If he would ve gotten to his gun he could shot the officer through his pants. The cops had to make a split second decision wrestling a 300 pound armed suspect. Would you risk you or your partner's life by not firing?

I agree. It sucks, but you can't let Sterling get that shot off. Why people resist is beyond me.

We have moved 180 of the teachings of MLK.
I am a racist because I am white. Even if l hold no opinions of race, I have benefited from "institutional racism" and enjoy my position because of it, not from the choices of my parents of myself. Even if I vocally accept white guilt for this, I may not be accepted into "safe spaces" because of my skin color.
He is not a sketchy POS because he is black, and you are a racist if you think so, regardless of what he actually has done.
So much for judging not for the color of his skin but the content of his character.

Not one single black co-worker was aware of that JPSO shooting - and weren't a couple of cops killed in LaPlace a few months ago? - and one of about 6 ppl was aware that a 911 call was made about him brandishing his gun, but he thought it was a lie. He thought Sterling was just out trying to provide for his family, and he needed a gun for protection in that part of town. WTF?? Thisreminds me of the Rantards: don't mind the facts.

Felons can't own guns bro. Y'all want stricter gun laws. Guy already got in trouble for illegally possessing a fire arm. Here he was again illegally possessing a fire arm.
He was committing a crime.

It's almost as if people don't understand that, once that bullet leaves the barrel, you have no control of where it goes. And, yes, bullets have been known to penetrate pants, even denim.

Yeap, one I was talking to thought the cops just rolled up on him selling CDs and killed him.
Didn't know they were called to the scene.
Same thing on the rant. Someone says some bullshite, then it runs around as fact. They haven't been paying attention the last 11 seasons.

Its the same story over and over with this stuff. Outrage and then truth comes out and the left retreats.
Except now, they're not retreating. That's the scary part. They are escalating this crap, and it's going to get worse before it gets better.
What scares me is my work puts me in situations where there are large groups of people with lots of cops around. I really don't want to get caught in any crossfire.

It's glaringly obvious from the videos of the protesters that race-baiters need no evidence or sound logic to rile up the masses. The protesters are far too ignorant to evaluate real facts.

You're showing the world how dumb you are and how little you actually know about this story.
Being an armed felon is most definitely a crime. And when you're resisting arrest and reaching for your gun when cops are trying to arrest you, that is how you get shot. You expect the cops to let him get a good aim on them first before they shoot him? I don't even know why I'm responding to an idiot like you.
