So sorry to hear this. I have no advice but to spend every moment you can with him.

Nope. Its awful.
Just get hooked up with a good palliative care doc, they are really good at making people comfortable and making the best of their limited time left on the planet.

Been down this road multiple times in the last 2 years with my own dad, my best friend and then my grandma. The only thing I can tell you is spend as much time as you can with him right now. Sorry to hear this, man.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks, but do as much as you can with him every day, and let him know how you feel.

Get right with God. Now.

Went through this about 4 years ago. Just be with him and supportive to him and other family members as much as you can. Sadly, it's a long and unpleasant ride to the other side when cancer is involved.

Hang in there and enjoy the time you have.

sure
pretend that God loves your dad, and loves you.
God is love, so once you get into the habit, you will see that its so.
love God from your heart with deep feeling.
everything changes. everyone dies.
Tell your dad you love him, every time you see him.

Do things he may enjoy doing together. Fishing, baseball game, cookout, etc.

Prayers sent. Spend as much time with him, do what you can with him, and takes lots of pictures. Enjoy the time left and focus on the positives about him during this time.

I just don't want to have to watch him widdle away in a bed. you know what I'm saying? I don't know how in the hell I will find the strength to watch him just fade out.

Do not know his details, but prostate (even metastatic) in general is very manageable...
