How wealthy are you?

This is a calculator that determines how wealthy are you. Its from the millionaire next door, and is pretty interesting to look at.
The one thing I would caution is if you are young, its going to say you are under accumulator, especially if you recently increased your salary. Its really built for those over 35.
But its fun to see if you are "on track"
Please feel free to post your scores, the score doesn't disclose your savings or income. Cause we know you are all OT ballers with 250k income and 4000 sq ft homes.
Your Wealth Index (WX) is 1.182 Average Accumulator of Wealth

I am 28 with a negative household networth with my wife's student loans.
Take out the loan debt and it moves to:

I'm in the UAW category, but this calculator can't take into account that I paid my grad school with cash and am currently paying my wife's professional school in cash. I guess those don't have any measurable "value" that can be considered "wealth", but they are an investment IMO.

I'm just Painstakingly normal.
I'm not sure that's a good thing.

seriously, that is pretty impressive. I can't even imagine saving enough money in my lifetime to get to this level. congrats.

me too. don't worry dawg, nothing wrong with being normal.
what is odd about this is I am average, but I doubt if anyone saw my balance sheet would call me average.

This calculation makes more sense for flattish incomes. Otherwise it seems meaningless.

It called me a liar.

That seems like a lot for a 25 yr old

UAW, but I have 30 years to catch up. Doesn't help that my real job didn't start until 30. I was basically accumulating debt from age 22-30.

You need to work on getting more income out of your assets ;)

Is it Gross or AGI or what?
I'm anywhere from a .5 to .8 to 1.05 depending on new gross salary, old gross salary, old AGI.
I thought I was doing okay for the average my age (28), but prob only on par for my salary. Seems to reflect this.

You can't. Wealth isn't built by saving, it's built by creativity (and/or luck).
I'm not trying to be a smart arse at all, but to get top 1-3% net worth, you can't have a 150k/yr job and save 10%. You've got to get out of the box.

This calculator makes no sense. I am probably in the top 5% of accumulated wealth for people my age (assuming no trust fund) and it had me scoring a .45

Early 30's, large income with huge student loans resulting in negative wealth.
