I think we all have herniated disks. A lot of us have disks that are bulging to some extent. I guess it's the severity and his pain tolerance. And of course it has to be diagnosed correctly. I've been misdiagnosed by a few doctors. Been thru umpteen injections. Finally I was recently diagnosed with Bertolotti's syndrome. That is a congenital condition in which your L5 vertebrae fuses to your hip.

So this injury doesn't buy CMW an extra year if Anderson misses 1-2 months and the team finishes with 36-40ish wins?
It shouldn't. This should be Monty auditioning for his job. He will have to adjust which he is incapable of.

no, coaches have been fired before regardless of injuries

We are a team with no identity.

I just got an ad for chronic spine discomfort.

Our offense is pretty sad with or without Ryno. It was acceptable when we were a team built on defense, but that sadly no longer holds true. We are a team with no identity.
when we started the season w/o ryno, we were losing a lot of games and a bunch were on the fire MW bandwagon. ryno comes back and we win a good bit and people jumped off and argued with me that he's a good coach.
If your team can't handle the loss of one player, that isn't your superstar, you have issues in the coaching department because they can't adjust. We suck with MW, period. Our defensive minded coach allows 100+ ppg. Our offense is good, but we can't close out a game to save our lives because he's a horrible offensive 'mind'

Is there any team with and expiring contract PF we can ship Gordon off to?

Detroit - Charlie Villanueva and Rodney Stuckey.

Gordon to the Celtics for Humphries?
EDIT - That would only work as a three-way because there's no way the Celtics take a long-term like Gordon for an expiring like Humphries.
We'd have to do something closer to Gordon and Stiesmsa for Wallace and Bass. Not necessarily a bad thing to get Bass but Wallace's deal sucks and lasts two more years.

Throw in Singler and that would be a great trade for the Pels.

I would argue that our scoring is good, but not our offense. We have a couple guys that can drive, which can lead to offense in multiple ways; but in our case I would just call it opportunistic and the benefit of youth and energy. Outside of the guy with the ball, it just seems like no real roles are defined.
I feel bad for a player like Rivers. All he does when he gets in the game is sit in the corner. We have no rotation at all. That really doesn't suit his game. I don't want this to be the point where this turns into a Rivers thread, but I think his talent is being wasted because of lack of creativity.

Dell will certainly have to look into this with our playoff chances all but gone now.
How long until the deadline?

About 45 days, as the deadline is roughly February 20.

This team is going to be a playoff borderline team with MW. we have no identity and no player development.

Losing Anderson is a big blow in a stacked Western Conference.
He is one of the NBA's best 3 pt shooters, leading the league in FT%, and averaging 20/7. That is a big loss for any team.
I still don't necessarily believe in our coaching though.
