Went back and caught some of it... Overall a decent roast, there were def some gems in there.
I still think Sambergs attempt was shite. He just rehashed Norm's bomb on purpose routine.
Overall, better than other roasts.

Well Norm's was different. It was like the other roasts except the jokes made no sense.
Samberg's bit was telling truthful things about everyone and "thinking" he was roasting them, and then describing Franco as gay.
They both were very unorthodox, and while I laughed at Samberg, I thought Norm's was actually brilliant.

Never really found Norm to be that funny, so I really didn't like Sandberg's bit that much. I get it, just don't find it funny. Overall, this was probably my favorite roast on CC.

i honestly thought the best joke of the night was when natasha leggaro said something about samberg playing acoustic "dick in a box" at lorne michaels' funeral. she killed it.

I liked that one. It got a delayed reaction from the dais. I don't think they got it right away.

That was a great roast. I don't know why I laughed so hard at Samberg, but I did.
These things are so much better when they bring people that are actually funny. I still have nightmares of Steve-O and Mike Tyson attempting to say something not totally retarded.

Just watched the entire thing and Ross had the best set. Ross's joke about Franco's grandma was brutal. Samberg probably had the second best set. You just have to understand his humor. Overall might be my favorite roast.
