Looks like a lot of good posters are drinking a lot of fine liquor this holiday season. Thanks for the suggestions. Feel free to continue updating what you're drinking/liking

Pappy Van Winkle hit the shelves a couple of weeks ago. If you can find any it's awesome.

I'm a fan of Basil Hayden's of Woodford Reserve.

I hear Buffalo Trace is good but I've yet to try it

If your coming from Jameson and Makers I would go with Knobs creek or Elijah Craig. Both very good, easy to drink and inexpensive.

If you are in New Orleans, Martin's wine cellar usually has special barrels of bourbon made for them.

Bourbon: Knob Creek or Bookers. Maker's is swill.

Whiskey: Can't go wrong with Jameson's

Sipping on Gentleman Jack. Was a gift today. Normally love my woodford, but this is good whiskey!

I went over to my friends house and her dad just has tons of alcohol out and I never really thought anything of it. But I glanced at some of them and realized he had a special edition Macallan 25 just sitting there right in my face. Now I have to convince him to let me try it!

Though Most bars won't stock it, makers and knob are a decent alternative

Not reading through 19 pages, sorry. I'm going to Scotland in June so I've been touching up on my scotch. Really love Glenlivet 12. Am currently drinking some Laphoraig...it's from the Isle of Islay and def has a unique smokey taste. Took me a little while but it's delicious
