Sounds like they aren't exactly his tickets to begin with. If they are the family's tickets and she can't go to any games except one it shouldn't matter which one she can attend. Give her the tickets, she is your sister.

She is at most entitled to one ticket, not both.

Maybe I missed it earlier, but who actually pays for these tickets?

How convenient the 1 game all season she can make just happens to be what could the biggest game in TS history. She sounds like a selfish bitch. You've gone to all of the games, she's fair weather. Tell her the tickets are hers if she can name 5 starters not named Mettenberger.

you probably could have avoided this had you chipped in something for the tickets so at the very least you could claim an ownership stake

It's more important for you to be able to go than ur douchebag au bro in law.
You and your sister should take one a piece, she'll prob say frick it.

I find it ironic that the Alabama game is the 'only' game she will be able to go to, she 'can't make' any of the others. I call mounds and mounds of goat plop on that one.

To please everyone involved, take your sister to the game, and have her war beagle hubby buy one outside the stadium right before kickoff, then meetup at halftime.

I agree with this. I am betting the husband is the one behind all of this. In laws almost always are.

Unless the sister has a bitchy history.

This. Tell her you've made plans to go, and she is welcome to one of the tickets. In the future, if she wants to go to any of the games she needs to get w/ you in advance of the season to work out an amicable deal.

I'd have given her every game this year and kept the Bama tickets because every other ticket will be fairly easy to obtain.

There is no way you should give her the tickets. She is a bitch for even asking. The fact that you've gone to all those games over the last 15 years proves that you are a real fan and obviously she isn't.

Tell her to quit being a dumb arse

What does her marrying an auburn fan have to do with Alabama? They are going to the game to root against Alabama, you're going to root FOR LSU.

She's being an idiot and her dumbass husband is to blame

I'm a girl ... and I want to know why didn't she use the Tennessee tickets 3 years ago. THAT would matter to me if I'm considering giving up my tickets. If she got puking sick that's one thing. But if it was too hot ... or too rainy ... or something stupid like that there's no way in hell I'd give her the tickets to the Bama game.

I understand that they may be family tickets but in 15 years she's gone (or was supposed to go) to 1 game??? Yes she's cherry picking.

Gladly give the tickets to your sister and her husband.

Then... go to the LSU ticket office and say that your tickets were lost. They will issue you new tickets and invalidate the old ones. Go to game very early and enjoy.

This is her only argument that I have to say is true. The stake that we have in the tickets as far as payment is equal. My argument is just that she had a lack of want to attend the games until now. Also that she only wants one game and it just so happens to be the biggest game. Im just going to give her any game she wants next year and see if she goes for it.

Biggest game of the year, bro and sis go together. All other games, compromise for full set and alternate. It's the only way.

Oh, and her not wanting them for 15 years shouldn't count against you.

"If he were a Bama grad, it might be different."

This makes it a little different to me, too. the OP has obviously been fortunate for a number of years but the sister is obviously not a die-hard LSU fan and the Auburn husband may be a good guy and love football but he doesn't really have a dog in the fight. Tricky situation and the OP probably should take care not to start a war when he has had it pretty good for a long time on the tix. But the cherry picking aspect of this is bad.

By the way, if I were the AU husband, I would tell the wife "no way we can take those tix from bro-in-law; not for THIS game." And that is no BS. I respect die-hards even if they are not of the same stripe.
