'96 CWS was my graduation gift from my parents. My parents thought I was crazy when my buddies were headed to Cancun and I wanted to go to Omaha.
I was about 5rows off of the right field line at Rosenblatt, just short of the warning track. A perfect birds eye view of the winning shot.
The whole sequence seemed to take minutes but in reality was only a second or two. From my seat it immediately looked like it wasn't gonna fly far enough but as we know, it had just enough.
Greatest sports moment ever. A day I will never forget. Partying with the players afterwards, drinking with Skips daughters, signing autographs b/c fans thought I was a player. Memories for a lifetime.

gulf shores - we were there as well, was drinking rum and tea - ran out of coke. had a great time at flora bama...

Landing in Anchorage Alaska....had to wait until next morning paper to find out who won....a guy with a Miami ball cap came over to our breakfast table and congratulated me on the win, I was wearing a LSU cap....

At work at Disney in Orlando.
Talked to my dad just before I left work and he told me. When I got home, I watched the highlights.

I was at my little league game. We were ilistening to the game on the radio in the dugout. We started started screaming and cheering when he hit the HR. But it was at the same moment one of teammates struck out... Awkward moment...

Watched it at George's on Highland Road waiting for my Dad to come out of recovery from his bypass surgery. The surgeon (done at OLOL) moved the surgery that Sunday from afternoon until morning so he could finish the plumbing in time to watch the game. Love those LSU fans-priorities always in order.

at my camp in Grand Isle in Tahiti East. I remember running out of the camp, down the porch, & up & down the road celebrating as if I was there. I was 13. csb.
