He is, the guy on the Rivals chat said he is in Ttown today. FSU also recently took a commitment from a QB, so I think our chances with Winston are better than anyone wants to believe.

He was in Tuscaloosa two weeks ago, but just with his mom. He was in Norman last week. He's in Tuscaloosa today with both parents. Some OU insiders are saying he'll commit to Alabama today.

I don't understand why a quarterback would want to be at Alabama given their current quarterback situation but if it helps LSU that's okay with me. But Winston has Zach Lee written all over him.

Mizzou cant keep any of their top prospects. They are going to lose DGB, Neal (OU), Pipkins (prob Michigan), and their 4th best prospect i think is going to Arky from what i hear.

The depth chart at Alabama is more manageable than Oklahoma. Especially if McCarron wins the job. Kiel would start by his sophomore season.

It would probably mean Winston to Bama, but Idk, maybe he respects us for having him as our number one guy, while Bama's number one guy is Kiel.

I heard that Saban pressured Kiel in a major way on his trip with his parents to commit, and he didn't, so Bama had moved on to Winston. Then, the article about Bama recruiting Winston hard came out soon thereafter. Sounds like the info I got from a UF insider was correct. He still stays in contact with Kiel because before we took Brissett, Weis was all over Kiel for the '12 class. When we took Brissett, it was over with Kiel, but the insider stayed in touch, and still does today.

OU with DGB. He and Kiel have been talking about playing together at OU according to this person.
