Man, I'd be so pissed if we don't land a blue chip QB recruit this class from HS. When will the curse end?

depending on how Randall develops this fall, we possibly landed two. Rivers is a project, plain and simple

Randall

I think he's LSU's QB for the future once Mett's gone. I think he's gonna be pretty good

Calling him a project is being nice.

There will have to be some Norm Chow type coaching going down for him to ever develop into a starting QB...

MVP in the Bama vs Mississippi All-Star game

Now you want a freaking project, Philip Ely..

I would not use that as a measuring stick, QBs always have a better chance of landing the MVP in allstar games.

Why the deflection to Ely?

And FWIW when Bama lands either Kiel or Winston, I don't expect Ely to ever start a game at Bama...

Why do all Bama fans say "land" when talking about gaining commitments?

Because saying they mounted a recruit just doesn't sound right. Basically the same thing though

Land or Mount..... Tomato or Tomahto

gatordmb89 Top QB Gunner Kiel to decide this month... OU with DGB. He and Kiel have been talking about playing together at OU according to this person.

I believe this to be true.

I don't. That rumor has already made the rounds once, and Kiel disposed of it himself. I haven't seen an interview of article stating the two have ever talked or met on another.

Because you should always trust what the kid tells an Alabama reporter.

Indiana fans are optimistic that they'll get him. It may be a case of them not getting a lot of elite guys so theyre talking themselves into it. We'll see.....maybe soon. I honestly feel like it's down to Alabama and Indiana though. If he wants to play at a great program, Alabama is about 5 hours closer than Oklahoma. It's Indiana if he wants to stay home

Actually it was an interview with OU reporters after his last visit there.

Indiana? Really? Why in the hell would he go there and not ND?
