I was born in 1979. I’m kind of glad I missed out on most of the energy crisis, 70’s fashion, and disco.

But this Reminds me of the80s as well…. At least for my country arse

He forgot girls that were naturally thin with no tattoos.
And moms' that stayed home. When the streetlights came on and you trudged your grubby arse inside you got a home cooked meal. Even if it was something you didn't like you still ate it. And you better not cry or Dad would give you something to cry about.

I was born in 78 and the 80s and 90s were similar with the mid 90s being the peak of our culture.

It's pretty accurate but, it feels like that video was supposed to be negative.
As a teen in the 70s life was great.
If you watch Dazed and Confused, that was pretty much life in the 70s. Aside from the senior paddling thing.

They called them SST cars... Stupid AI....
It was SSP...
The trick to drinking out the hose was to let it run to get the sitting hose water out...
We did pretty much all of that, funny no mention of skateboarding...

I was born in 1970 and can testify this is 100% accurate.

I was 18 in 1970, but all those things mentioned still applied to how I grew up as a young kid.
Much simpler times for sure.

Absolutely my fondest memories. I'd go back in a second.

Am I the only one tired of AI nostalgia aura farming bullshite?

I was born in 1965. I grew up smack in the middle of the 70s. The video was funny and accurate but forgot to mention the greatest music ever produced (at least the rock/pop variety). I’m not saying no other great music has been made before or since, but nothing can touch that decade.

He says that Big Wheels were “one hundred percent plastic”.
There’s a metal rod for the back axle and metal clips outboard to retain the rear wheels.
Not sure about the front axle, probably some metal in there as well.
His general point was correct: if you looked at a Big Wheel, you saw nothing but plastic with decals stuck all over them.
I was too old/tall for them, with the seat set back all the way, I couldn’t pedal the first one I tried to ride.
