ATF lab report in Charlie Kirk murder case is out

The ATF lab described finding "one .30-caliber class deformed/damaged bullet jacket fragment and four lead fragments."
What prosecutors CAN prove: the fired cartridge case was positively ID'd as fired from Robinson's rifle.
And toolmarks on the casings match a rotary engraving tool — like the Dremel seized from Robinson's home.
Now the State wants to go further — running new Virtual Comparison Microscopy (VCM) technology and "metallurgical" testing on the fragments.
PS — to everyone who said it wasn't a .30 caliber bullet: the ATF disagrees.

I thought this had already come out and been posted about.
I distinctly remember posting that as much as 50% of the time a bullet is too deformed to be able to be matched with a specific gun, so being "inconclusive" on a match means nothing.

It’s also been confirmed that the dna from the gun matches the shooter which ties the gun and dna evidence to the shooting. I’m all for conspiracies but be smarter

Just because the fragments are so obliterated and it doesn't result in a "positive" identification, does not mean the bullet wasn't fired from Robinson's gun.
The conspiracy loons will say "see, there is no proof it was a bullet from his gun".
Have we found any evidence that another 30 caliber weapon was fired nearby?
