Anyone have any experience with the new ones? My GE went out this morning and according to the tech that came out, Frigidaire is the way to go for a decent price. Specifically the Frigidaire professional French door models

I have a Frigidaire professional and couldn’t be happier with it. I bought it 17 years ago and haven’t had a bit of trouble out of it. If I had to buy another fridge tomorrow, I would get the same one.

My parents had one when I was a kid that lasted forever. I have not personally owned one but have heard nothing but positives about them.

I just got one 2 weeks ago. Frigidaire gallery something double door. So far so good. One thing which is weird is the water dispenser isn't chilled. No issues so far.

Replaced my LG that had to be defrosted every few months (unplugged and everything taken out) and dead ice maker with a Frigidaire recently. So far so good. Less parts to break, and was also recommended by the tech that checked out the LG

I have a Frigidaire fridge thats at least 15 y/o. I have never had a problem with it.

I also have a Frigidaire oven/range/stove thats about 5 y/o and no problems with it either.

The house I am in had a Frigidaire professional when I bought it. Think the house was built in 2012-2013. I bought in 2019, and had problems with the ice maker. It crapped out while on a trip in 2020. I guess that isn’t a terrible life span for appliances these days.

I have the Electrolux version of the Frigidaire column fridge and freezers. Very happy with them.

I’ve had a Frigidaire gallery fridge for almost 15 years

The only problem I’ve ever had is the water line freezes occasionally so I have to turn it off and let it defrost. It’s apparently a common issue due to the design. Aside from that its been rock solid and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

Frigidaire Proffesional

Just got this one a couple of months ago. For the most part we like it. Very roomy and easy to keep organized. Complaints are: the ice maker is a little wild. It's easy for the ice to miss the glass unless you hold it just right. The water dispenser is not chilled and a little slow. I have to have the repair man come out to replace the freezer gasket (most likely) and the freezer door just seems like it was installed off-square.

Had a GE that died and I replaced it with a Frigidaire Professional. Was only a year and a half ago, but so far so good. In the same footprint as the GE, it has much more interior space and two ice makers. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Replaced a Thor with a Frigidaire and have no problem with it. I have the double door fridge on top and drawer freezer on bottom with ice maker on bottom. Water dispenser inside door of fridge.
