Recycle old gasoline and other waste

May 9 is the recycle day this year, I have about 5 gallons of gas and a few old paint buckets, I've researched to see if there is anyplace in the area to get rid of this stuff the rest of the year, Does anyone have a resource in the EBR area that I am not aware of?

You can dry those out and just chuck those. Kitty litter works if you're cheap but they sell some other products to dry out if you want to go that route.

Your backyard brush pile and a Roma candle will help you recycle that gasoline back into its original form

someone on here has a smudge pot and a vat of used oil they could mix it with. Obviously gasoline isn't suited for a smudge pot on it's own, but mixing it with some thick used oil will lower the flash point some.

Can try calling Clean Harbors. I think they do or used to handle the HHMD days for the parish. I think the only free option is the local hazardous waste day.

Dont know about BR, but the Jefferson Parish dump on David Dr has an area where you can dispose of old fluids like oil and gasoline.
