The annual BR hazardous waste was a cluster frick last and only time I went. Never again.

Serious answer is open the paint cans and let them dry out, doesn’t take long.

And burn the gas.

Serious question: I don't want to give up my old-school gas cans. At this May 9 event, will they just dump out my old gas in those cans and hand them back to me? The City-Parish website was not clear, imagine that.

No. They'll take your can. Mixing unknown volatiles in public sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

I run old gas with new fuel in lawn mower or ATV. 5-10% old gas with fresh gas. No difference in performance.

You can dry those out and just chuck those. Kitty litter works if you're cheap but they sell some other products to dry out if you want to go that route.


Sawdust works great if you have a workshop.
