Morehead State is in Rowan County, Kentucky. Morehead is a small town with absolutely nothing going on there apart from the university which is mostly known for producing teachers. It is definitely predominately white there. Almost blindingly so. It is pure Appalachian foothills and knolls.

Her uncle, Deron, was one of the Kentucky "Unforgettables" along with John Pelphrey, Richie Farmer, and Sean Woods who helped save Kentucky basketball after the Eddie Sutton scandal decimated the program.

Deron played when I was there. I didn't know his dad's or his brother's history.
