House design features that bother you

Somewhat of a spinoff from 008 Magazine post. Someone mentioned the garage sticking out from the front of the house and I immediately thought about how much I dislike front facing garages, especially on higher end homes.
I also really hate when the front entrance is uncovered. frick getting a package rained on.
What features (or lack of features) annoys you?

I hate when I can see neighbors out of my windows.

Charging $250-300/ sq ft for a house with 12x12’ bedrooms and hollow interior doors

Houses with no front facing windows.

Running Cat5e instead of Cat6. Cheap fricks.

Too small of kitchens. Need that counter space and that cabinet space.

I've seen houses where the roof pitches drain into the front door entrance, from multiple points.
Almost know way to cure that, even with gutters.
No one looked at that and said, " this is idiotic".
$650K spec house...

Every fricking interior color is the same drab light gray. Looks like a damn hospital inside.

Bidet - When that warm water hit my bunghole if feels strange.

interior arched doorways, it's the door to your kitchen, not the Colosseum.

I thought those things were water fountains.

Having the front door enter directly into the main living space. I prefer the flipped layout with the living space in the back.

You try to work it into every crevasse of a conversation.

I've owned one open concept home. Never again.

I'm not a fan of single basin sinks or the concrete ones.

The lack of a nice front porch. I think eliminating the front porch has been a detriment to society as a whole.

Also, every time I see your name, I read it as Soccerfruit.

I have an interior decorating business as a side gig, so I have a long list, lol. Main thing, like someone else said, is the whole house the same color. These days its white with maybe a colored island. My other pet peeve is stained concrete in expensive houses. I hate it.
