re: Stubborn Fruit Flies in Sink

Zep drain, then they sell these little fruit fly traps that look like apples. They are miracle workers!
My daughter is going to school in Alabama and I have to admit, we've found some great towns there while traveling with her softball team. The food, however, is definetely better in LA.
We've only ever drank Community, and I ordered a bag of Lavazza yesterday. Anxious to try it.
I'm taking a group to Husky next Wednesday, excited to try that. I LOVE Herbsaint, one of my favs. Will definetely look into these, thanks!
Will be in NOLA all week next week for a work event. Hubby is coming in one night and we'd like to try a new place. We've been to most of the old traditional places...anywhere new you'd recommend?
If you don't wear a coat, they will give you a loaner, which you'd probably prefer to avoid...
If you can get there right when it opens, the first hour is sensory friendly. It's not as crowded and loud. (at least that's how it was when we visited last year). It's incredible!!!
I went last year and wore jeans with a blazer and cute sandals. You're fine in business casual.
I just discovered power washing last weekend after my assistant let me borrow hers…it’s definitely addicting!
I actually made salisbury steak/gravy for the first time a few weeks ago & it was delicious. I’ll make it again for sure.
I handle everything financially in our house. I tease my husband that it's a good thing all of the utilities are auto-drafted or he'd be sitting in the dark if I died. I'm so Type A though, I prefer it that way, and I actually enjoy finances, spreadsheets, etc. He handles his 401k. We both make good salaries, dump it in our joint account and I handle things. It's worked for 22 years so far...
My husband and I inherited recreational property. It's value is pretty significant.

There is a store in St. Francisville called Birds of a Feather that does consignment of these types of things. You might check there. My mother owns a full set of Gorham Strausbourg and it is very valuable, especially if you have a full 8/10/12 piece set.

re: Parents Buying Kids Homes

My parents have helped us with down payments & private school. As an only child, they always told me they’d much rather enjoy it with me than leave me a big inheritance. I hope I can do the same for my kids. But I have always worked & so do my kids. Help does not always equal being entitled.
One or two personally. However, I have realized that I love my husband very much when I pick ticks off of him, way too many over 25+ years to count.
Time for sure. Like everyone else said, I am paid well, but could work a more stressful job and make more for sure. But I never miss anything for my kids, can take off pretty much whenever I need, and work from home on occasion if need be. From a money standpoint, however, right now (I'm 44) I'm trying to find the balance between saving enough for retirement but not missing out on memories/experiences with the family.
Dupixent is a game changer. My daughter has had severe eczema since birth, and it’s a miracle drug. She started taking it at 15 I believe. She does say it hurts (she uses the pen injector) but I’ve read the syringe is much less painful.
The best thing about Fleurty Girl is she's 100% self made. Started the company with her $2000 tax refund and never took out a business loan.
I had viral at 27…worst headache ever. Probably 6 months till I felt 100% again.
Funny enough, my company built a new headquarters building about four years ago. Our CFO insisted on doors all the way to the floor in all bathroom stalls.

Wash House and Jesse's are our favorites.
