Didn't Some of Y'all Say UConn Would Dominate LSU and the Rest of the SEC?

There were a number of posters that continued to say this in this forum. I sure as hell know they couldn't be talking about that team that lost to SC tonight by 14 pts and couldn't get more than 50 pts. 
Hell, at least LSU played them close twice and scored over 70.

Conn losing to USC was not a surprise to me (look closely at their schedule). They were not battle tested. What did surprise me was Texas losing to UCLA. I never would have thought Booker would go 3 for 23 and keep making bad plays. Texas on a normal game (played after Vandy) would have beaten them by 12 or better.

I never liked Geno - always found him arrogant. But I'm not a fan of Dawn at all either.

I never said it on TD, but I really thought Texas and UCONN would play for the championship, clearly I don’t know shite about women’s basketball.

I don’t watch WBB but there appear to only be five or so teams that are any good so you had ok odds of getting that one right

Correct - it's been that way as long as I can remember. Some of the blowouts in the first two rounds were embarrassing. I mean Texas Tech was a 7 seed and we beat them by 50 points. I do think we were one of those 5 or 6 teams - still can't believe we lost to Duke - no way we should have lost that one.

I’ll own up to the fact that I thought UCONN would win it all. But as a Tiger fan, I take no joy in scoring 70 and losing to SC umpteen times !

Yeah, I actually said multiple times I’d prefer to play UConn in Ft Worth because we’d have a few thousand fans there, but we played like shite against a mediocre Duke team anyway. Not sure the point of OP.

I don’t think the LSU women’s team could beat the UConn Men’s basketball team. Just my opinion.
