Friday conspiracy theories for LSU

The timing for the closure of the golf course and hiring of WW are not linked but it’s more than coincidence.
Let’s be honest the PMAC is long in a tooth. It seems like as of late women’s gymnastics is the only team that can sell it out. The basketball arena needs to be rebuilt and with limited land, the golf course was the sacrificial goat.
I think the hiring of Will Wade is just enough to tie us over until we can start construction on a new arena. With NIL I think Will Wade can prosper with the new rules - don’t shoot the messenger. I just don’t think he is final four championship material and that he is a placeholder until the arena is built and we can attract a top-tier coach.
In addition, I think the women’s gymnastics team will be rewarded with sole proprietorship of the PMAC and can split it up to accommodate year round training and upgrade it to where it’s designed solely for Gymnastics if they push for it. It will also probably be rebranded under DD Breaux Colosseum or something like that.
There is still a ton of property left over that’s unfinished so it’ll be interesting what they choose to do with that. What type of incentive will they throw to the golf team to attract top talent there after taking the golf course from them.
Anyway, it’s just mindless rambling about a bunch of unrelated crap that could be more than what’s seen on the surface.

Wade 2.0 is going to wreck shite… your opinions included.

There is 0% chance that gym meets stay in the PMAC while every other team gets to play in the brand new arena.
I would love to hear if any member of the LSU golf team has even stepped foot on the LSU golf course.
Your whole post is stupid.

Much of what you said makes sense. I would suggest the PMAC would be demolished and replaced with a really efficent high capacity parking garage with rooftop training/physical rehab center. That would give LSU state of the art center for trainng/rehab for all sports. It will also address parking Issues for all sports.
My two cents has been submitted.

getting out of a parking garage after a football game with contraflow sounds miserable. I've done it after a Saints game in NOLA and it took forever!
My 2 cents...PMAC is a great location! Demo/Reno the inside, add suites, reduce capacity some, improve concourse areas. done deal.

They already said the PMAC would become office space

Last plans I saw, the new arena was projected to go where the clubhouse currently stands.

LSU WBB sells out the PMAC as well. MBB will do it once the winning starts again.

Lol at thinking the golf team has ANYTHING to do with the old course.

Coaches, just like players, can evolve and develop. Just because Wade may not be a Final 4 coach right now doesn't mean he can't be in the future. We shall see.

DD Breaux is not deserving of such an honor IMHO

Our Gymnastics team has their own facility to train. It was built north of the PMAC just for them. They are in great shape.

Wade is about an elite of a coach as we can pull at LSU. LSU basketball isn't football or baseball.

Texas has one of the top golf programs in the nation and they don't have a course right next to campus. They play in Steiner Ranch and it takes about an hour to get there.
I'd think it's better for a University to partner with a really nice private course in the area rather than maintaining one on their own.
That said, you can guarantee that there's plans for that plot of land already.

LSU started caring about DD in the final 5 years of her career at LSU lol. At most they'll name a new training facility after her
