HOPEFULLY...
Someone was smart when the bill was drafted knowing the some of it would have to be removed in order for it to get passed as a way of making concessions.
Without knowing what has been stripped (not buying all of what Beck says), then maybe it was just fat that was stripped and the meat is left behind???

However much you loathe the GOP leadership at the national level it isn’t enough.
They call me every year for donations to the GOP senate leadership committee and it’s everything I can do not to go off on the poor fundraiser person on the other end of the line.

Didn’t Trump add no men in girls sports and no trans surgeries on minors? I think he did that thinking it would blow the libs the minds. Then you come back and say ok well we’ll take those out but require ID, proof of citizenship, and mail in ballot reform. At least that’s how I would approach it from a negotiation, considering how fricked up our senate is.

Good, should have always been strictly around ID for federal elections... The Republicans got greedy trying to throw in all the Trans bullshite.
While I agree with the no men in women sports and gender affirming care for minors ban, it should be separate legislation and not piggy backed on this.
