BREAKING: Once again, the French government is playing its dirty games by preventing and disrupting operations of the United States Armed Forces against the Islamic regime of Iran. They denied permission for overflight of two B-1B heavy bombers of the U.S. Air Force involved in Operation Epic Fury yesterday, forcing the aircraft to reroute over the Mediterranean Sea and then the Atlantic Ocean to return to RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom.
Our “allies” deserve some TLC from the anti-Israel contingent. Maybe nudge the magnifying glass over a bit.

I can see not wanting to send reinforcements into Iran, but to not allow B2s to pass over your airspace is ridiculous. Trump should put France in timeout like he threatened Spain, who quickly changed their tune.

I remember the time Reagan bombed Libya and accidentally hit the French embassy in Tripoli.. The French had refused to allow their airspace for the bomb run.

I’d guess the overlap between people critical of our relationship with Israel and wanting us out of NATO is probably 99%.
The only reason I can give to remain is that it helps guarantee reserve currency status.

Perhaps if they hadn't had to fly that extra 1k+ air miles they would have been a bit better rested so that their aim wasn't off by that much.
I don't think the pilots were instructed to do it, but I don't think Reagan or any of our fliers cared that it happened either.
